NEW SLATC STUDY ON COMMUNITY LEADERS AND THE URBAN FOREST
This original research project from the South LA Tree Coalition – in partnership with USC Dornsife Public Exchange and USC Price School of Public Policy – explores South Los Angeles community leaders’ views on the urban forest and tree equity issues in South L.A. to better understand, and therefore represent, diverse community perspectives on trees with the goal of identifying, uplifting, and advocating for aligned policy and program-level interventions.

- Zoom into an area and click on a tree diamond.
- Click on the eye icon.
- Click on “Species” in upper-left for tree species information.
- Click on “$” icon in upper-right and then “Tree Eco Benefits” bar to view benefit formulas for that tree, including Carbon Dioxide Uptake, Storm Water Mitigation, and Air Pollution Removal.
